Coronavirus: " If up to 80% of Nigerians we're tested, we would be shocked and devastated by the results" Femi Fani- Kayode


Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has raised concerns over the number of COVID-19 cases being reported in Nigeria.

In a tweet posted on Monday morning, the politician says he has a terrible feeling that if more people were tested, Nigerians would be shocked and devastated by the results.
''How can you determine the number of Nigerians that have been afflicted with Covid 19 when not up to 1% of the population have been tested for the virus? I have a terrible feeling that if up to 80% of Nigerians were tested for it we would be shocked and devastated by the results.''his tweet reads

 

Currently, Nigeria has 232 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

US threatens to block China Telecom from America market.

The United States of America threatened on Thursday, April 9, to cut off Beijing-controlled China Telecom from serving the US market because of legal and security risks, the Justice Department announced. A recommendation by the government’s top departments, including Defense, State and Homeland Security, said that the Federal Communications Commission should “revoke and terminate” all authorizations for the Chinese giant’s US subsidiary, China Telecom (Americas), to provide international telecommunications services to and from the United States. "The Executive Branch agencies identified substantial and unacceptable national security and law enforcement risks associated with China Telecom’s operations, which render the FCC authorizations inconsistent with the public interest," the Justice Department said in a statement.
